Description of the Author’s Presentation

Grades 7–12
45-50 minutes

Bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater's humorous presentations focus on goals — how she uses them in her writing, and how teens can apply them to their lives. Peppered with anecdotes about her writing life and travels, Maggie describes how ideas come to her, life as an author, and how goals helped her to write her bestselling books and stay true to her dream of an unorthodox life as an author, artist and musician. Visual presentations of Maggie's animation and artwork engage artistic students. A reading and Q&A accompany each session.
