Greg Tang is the author of The New York Times bestseller The Grapes of Math and seven other books including Math for All Seasons, The Best of Times, Math Appeal, Math-terpieces, Math Potatoes, Math Fables, and Math Fables Too.

His books and sessions challenge and encourage children to use creativity and common sense to solve problems, rather than formulas and memorization. Children quickly learn to think for themselves, and in the process gain confidence, learn effective computational and problem-solving skills, and develop a new appreciation for math.

Greg's goal in each session is to show students first-hand how fun and rewarding problem-solving can be. His lively, 50-minute sessions are fast-paced and interactive, and students often leave truly inspired about math. Greg currently lives in Belmont, Mass.
