The Magic Lies Within: Believing in the Impossible
Grades K-12
45-minute interactive presentation followed by a Q&A
Fairy tales are more than just good stories. Lessons lie beneath the allure of pixies, silly tea parties, and impossible creatures. Unlikely heroes rise up amidst the chaos of an unpredictable world and heartless villains. Real life can often mirror fiction. These beloved tales teach us to believe in ourselves when it seems like the world is against us. Invite Wendy Spinale to share lessons from Everland, Lost Boy, and Umberland. Students will be motivated to find strength, determination, and the iron will to believe in themselves, stand up to the villains (bullies) they encounter, and become the heroes they’ve always meant to be. Presentation can be modified to be appropriate for all age groups.
Featuring:
- Pixie dust
- A cast of unlikely heroes and villains
