Description of the Author’s Presentation

Animal Magic: In Search of Fox of Fable

Grades 4-7

For virtual visits, Inbali will start with a twenty minute presentation and a short reading. The rest of the session will be open to questions – the more the better! For actual visits, the structured part of the presentation will be longer.

Mystery and magic are everywhere, if we only know where to look for them. Inbali will invite you to join her as she follows the fox through history, from trickster and shapeshifter to children’s book villain. Talking through the inspiration for the Foxcraft series, Inbali will introduce different kinds of magic and invite students to consider what their own special power might look like. She will finish by talking through some of the challenges and surprises of writing and sharing her top tips for aspiring authors.
