Division Without Remainders - Grade I
When students do division without remainders, the answer comes out even. There is nothing left over. We can predict these answers if we know the multiplication facts. 35 divided by 7 is 5. We know this because we know that 5 x 7 = 35.
Beyond these simple multiplication and division facts are long division problems that still have no remainders. Hence, 2468 divided by 2 = 1234.
