Easy-to-follow classroom projects to inspire your students.
Quilt and study geometry at the same time! Kids glue geometric paper shapes to individual construction-paper squares, then tape squares together for a class quilt.
What you'll need:
1 Cut shapes from colored paper before class.
2 Let students map out patterns on a separate square sheet of paper using the shapes.
3 Glue patterns in place with a glue stick.
4 Tape all "quilt squares" together to create a large quilt.
5 Photograph students in front of their quilt!
