Some people are meant to be together, no matter how long it takes. Even if it takes thousands of years.
Is there such a thing as karma? As reincarnation? As soulmates? Does eternal love really exist? Do souls come back over and over, searching for each other, trying to find happinss and completion together?
The first time the two souls met was before recorded history had begun. She was one of the first CroMagnons, he was one of the last Neanderthals. They fell to their deaths from a high cliff, both struggling for possession of the huge green emerald.
They next met in Egypt. He was a Nubian slave, and she was a dancing girl in the same household. But two others have also traveled with them, a man and a woman who seek to separate the lovers.
Then they were in ancient Greece, in Salem, during the witch trials, in Indian Territory during the Civil War, and in Paris, during World War II. And always, somehow, they recognized each other, and the same love and attraction drew them together. Their souls and their emotions connected them.
Will they ever find their destiny? Will they ever find the happiness, the completion, that their souls yearn for? Will they ever have their happy ending?
