In fall 2016, Scholastic and YouGov conducted a survey of 1,043 kids ages 6–17 and their parents to learn about family attitudes and behaviors around reading. We discovered more kids than ever are reading for pleasure, but they still need support and access to books — especially during the summer. That’s where you come in. Teachers are great influencers of student reading, and parents are happy to have the help, and any extra books you can provide!
