Craft: Cup of Small Treasures
This easy craft is the perfect end-of-year gift for students.
PreK–K, 1–2, 3–5, 6–8
An end-of-year gift that’s a latte fun? Place cotton fluff in disposable cups to mimic foam, and then choose a selection of small toys for each student. Easy!
What You Need
· 12-ounce plain white cups and lids
· Brown tissue or craft paper (optional)
· Cotton balls
· Toys of your choosing
What to Do
Write students’ names and a message on 12-ounce cups, and decorate with stickers or other embellishments. Then, crush up some brown tissue or craft paper and stuff it in each cup; this will provide some filling and look like coffee! Place a few toys or treats on top of this. Next, pull apart a cotton ball or two and arrange near the top to resemble foam. Scatter additional toys on top of the cotton foam, if you’d like. Seal the cup with a lid and decorate with stickers for a finishing touch.
