Where Is Emily? A Clifford Interactive Storybook Activity

Early readers practice beginning consonant sounds while selecting words to complete sentences.

Grades

PreK–K, 1–2

Activity Type

  • Computer Lab Activities
  • Interactive Whiteboard Activities

In the Where is Emily? Interactive Storybook (PreK–1), early readers follow the lovable red dog as he searches for Emily. The storybook challenges students to practice beginning consonant sounds, including identifying initial consonants and matching letter sounds to their corresponding letters.

In each page, students choose a word (from three options) to complete a sentence and then listen to the page read aloud with the new sentence. The illustration also changes to reflect the new word and sentence.

Sample page:

Clifford wants to play!

Clifford finds a ____.

Students choose from: toy, top, tire

But where is Emily?
