Math in the Car

Dreading that long car trip you’ve got coming up? Introduce some simple math games! You could count the number of red cars you see or letters on a road sign. Your child could peer at license plates and look for a certain number (her age, for example). Or, if you call out two numbers you see on a plate, ask her if she can use her fingers to add them up. See below for more road trip ideas with your kids.
