What you need:

  • tissue paper
  • scissors
  • sandpaper
  • crayon
  • construction paper
  • self-laminate sheets

What to do:

  1. Help your child cut out a variety of fruit shapes from colored tissue paper.
  2. Invite her to glue the shapes to construction paper to create placemats or coasters to liven up your table. To create some texture, you can peel a crayon and grate it gently with sandpaper over the tissue.
  3. Seal with self-adhesive laminate sheets to preserve your child's masterpieces.
