What you need:
- towel or bath sheet
- 3 yards of cotton yarn
- large tapestry or yarn needle
What to do:
- Fold the towel or bath sheet in half. Using a large, threaded needle, begin sewing together the seams of the three open edges. Leave a tail of yarn when you start, and work several stitches over it to secure and hide the yarn.
- Continue sewing with either a simple blanket stitch or a whipstitch (a stitch that passes over the edge of the fabric diagonally). The stitches should be about 1⁄2-inch apart and only as deep as necessary to create a firm seam.
