What You Need:
- 1 tbsp light olive oil
- ? cup diced onion
- 1 small garlic clove, chopped
- 8 oz ground chicken
- 4 fresh sage leaves, chopped
- ? cup grated apple
- Bread crumbs
- Salt and pepper
What To Do:
1. Heat the oil in a small pan and sauté the onion and garlic for about 2 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool. Then, in a large bowl, mix together the chicken, chopped sage, grated apple, bread crumbs, and sautéed onion mixture. Season to taste and form the mixture into four burgers.
2. Grill burgers for at least 5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Alternatively, you can sear the burgers in a frying pan for 2 minutes on each side and then bake them in the oven at 400°F for 10 minutes, turning halfway through.
