Maggie McGuire

Maggie McGuire is Vice President, eScholastic, where she oversees Scholastic.com. Prior to her work in digital media, she spent eight years in the educational arena as a Language Arts and Literature teacher (grades 7 to 10) and as a teacher trainer and curriculum development designer. She was a teacher recruiter for Teach for America and led the team that launched International Baccalaureate’s Middle Years Programme, an international curriculum designed for students aged 11 to 16, offered in schools worldwide.

She holds an MA in Educational Theater from New York University and a BA in English Literature and Philosophy from Boston College and with her husband is raising two wonderful boys in Brooklyn, NY.
