Kai-leé Berke is a lifelong early childhood educator and CEO of Teaching Strategies — the leading provider of early childhood solutions for programs serving children from birth through third grade. She has taught and cared for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners in public, private, and Department of Defense programs.

Nationally known as an expert on early childhood education, child development, and developmentally appropriate practice, Kai-leé has spoken at conferences for the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the National Head Start Association, and SXSWEdu. Her writing has been published on outlets including Huffington Post and EdSurge

Kai-Leé holds the fundamental belief that the relationship between teacher and child is the foundation for all learning in the early childhood classroom. She has focused her career on building the professionalism of the early childhood workforce, advocating for fair wages and working closely with early childhood policy organizations to ensure that early educators are respected for the critical role they play in the lives of young children and their families.

Kai-leé is a mother of two, ultra-marathon runner, and lover of books, dogs, and good food.
