Hello my name is Rajas, a 5th grader, and I am really passionate about reading books. This month I finished reading an adventurous, humorous, and informative book from the Percy Jackson series. It is called The Blood of Olympus. Though it has a very scary title name, it is really interesting. I am sharing with you my thoughts about this book.
First off, let me introduce the characters to you. Percy, Frank, and Hazel joined forces with Annabeth, Jason, Piper, and Leo, while Nico, Reyna, and a Satyr are transporting a giant statue. Before I give you more information, this is happening from Rome, Greece, and the Mediterranean, all the way to New York and California. So this adventure will be very bizarre. Anyway, the two groups who have joined forces are part of an important quest to save the world.
The quest is:
Seven half-bloods shall answer the call
To storm or fire the world must fall
An oath to keep with a final breath
And foes bear arms to the doors of death
Seems important, right? So, the seven demigod/half-bloods did answer the call in the 3rd book. The last two lines were completed in the previous book. So, all you have to do is read this final, mind-blowing book to find out how the world ends. Storm or Fire. Well, don’t ask me, because you have to read the book to find out.
After reading this interesting book, I had a mix of emotions. Sadness, for all the deaths. Joy, for all the victories. Suspense, for wanting to know what happens next. This was not a simple, they-kill-the-bad-guy-save-the-world-and-everyone-says-"Hooray!" kind of book. This book was a big journey including many adventures throughout the road. I would definitely suggest this one-of-a-kind book to any person who enjoys information, humor, and big adventure. Out of all the books in the series, I suggest that this one is the best. It has a perfect amount of suspense, viciousness, and also jokes. This is what I think about this fantastic book.
If you think that this is the perfect book for you, buy or borrow this book from a store, library, or a friend. If not, I will be reviewing many more books, so eventually; I will find a book for you!
