Laura Gallego García

Laura Gallego Garcia began to write at the age of eleven. When she was 21, her novel Finis Mundi (Apocalypse) won the prestigious Barco de Vapor Prize and became the first of her seventeen books to be published; she won the prize again two years later for La Leyenda del Rey Errante (The Legend of the Wandering King). In 2005, Arthur A. Levine books has published an English version of The Legend of the Wandering King, translated by Dan Bellm. Inspired by the true story of a real prince of pre-Islamic Arabia; this is an original historical fantasy, a thoughtful exploration of our fates and choices, and an utterly thrilling adventure Laura Gallego Garcia was born in 1977 in Valencia, Spain, where she still lives. She is currently completing a doctorate in medieval literature at the University of Valencia and working on another novel.
