OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. To be eligible, persons must complete all 14 questions in the online survey regarding the "The Science of Invention" Program. Survey must be completed by December 30, 2005. All eligible entries will then be entered into a random drawing. Two (2) Winners will be selected at random and contacted via email.

Winners will be selected and notified on or about February 3, 2006.  Offer is open to teachers who are residents of the U.S. as of October 24, 2005.  Employees, and members of their families living in the same household, of Scholastic Inc, Firefly Mobile, Grow Marketing and their respective parents, subsidiaries, employees, brokers, distributors, dealers, retailers, affiliates, and their immediate families, and their respective advertising, promotion, and production agencies, are not eligible to enter. One entry per person; duplicate and/or mechanically reproduced entries will be disqualified. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries.  Void where prohibited by law.

Prizes: Two (2) Winners will each receive a $100 American Express Gift Cheque.

All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to abide by these rules, and agree to release Scholastic Inc, Firefly Mobile, Grow Marketing and its/their respective parents, subsidiaries, employees, brokers, distributors, dealers, retailers, affiliates, and its/their respective advertising, promotion, and production agencies from any and all liability for injuries or damages of any kind sustained through participation in this promotion and/or use or misuse of a prize once accepted.

No cash substitutions, transfers, or assignments of prizes allowed, except by Scholastic Inc in case of unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.

By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Scholastic Inc, Firefly Mobile and Grow Marketing the right to use his or her name, likeness, hometown, biographical information, and entry for purposes of advertising and promotion without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

For the names of winners (available after February 3, 2006 and before March 3, 2006), send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Science of Invention, Gwen Favers/Space 506, C/O SMP-Scholastic Inc, 557 Broadway, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10012.
