20 per grade level: These in-depth, multimedia instructional units guide students to mastery of a high-interest informational text through three separate reads. With each encounter, students move toward mastery of the text as they focus on one of 13 standards-aligned literacy skills Each Text Study requires approximately 4 instructional sessions to complete.
20 Skill Videos
9 for grades K–2, 11 for grades 3–5: Videos provide direct instruction on the Spotlight Skills covered in the Text Studies.
33 Reading Checkpoints
4 per grade level for K–2, 7 per grade level for grades 3–5: Students apply the skills they've developed to new texts in these performance-based assessments.
Implementation and Teaching Support
Core Clicks comes with a complete, downloadable Implementation Guide, as well as printable worksheets and a Teaching Guide with extension activities for every Text Study.
Tracking and Reporting
Teachers may assign any component of Core Clicks for completion in a password-protected Student Space. Core Clicks tracks all assigned work for completion and scores
performance-based assessments (Question Quests and Reading Checkpoints). Completion and performance metrics are available at the student, class, school, and district level.
