Chestnut Hill Book #5: The Scheme Team

Dylan and Honey wandered back toward the rail. They were just in time to watch the next rider, a nervous-looking seventh-grader wearing the navy and white of Lindenwood Country Day School, ride into the ring on a short-necked chestnut pony.

"Nice riding, Dylan." Ansty Van Sweetering, a freshman member of the intermediate team, greeted the two seventh-graders with a smile. Ansty's pale-blonde hair was already tucked up under her Charles Owen helmet, and her long, slim legs were encased in Tailored Sportsman breeches and custom boots.

"Thanks," Dylan said. "Morello was awesome, wasn't he?"

Eleventh-graders Colette Prior and Kelsey Howett were leaning on the ring fence nearby. Though both girls were in the advanced riding class, only Kelsey was on the senior jumping team.
