As part of a technology-rich curriculum, Linkhorn Park’s science study program centers on each grade level’s exploration of sound scientific principles. Much of learning is by exploration in the classroom and in the state-of-the-art science lab, where students are encouraged to “check what you think against what you see.” Students’ comprehension of scientific concepts is enhanced by frequent application to the community. As the learning experience becomes more authentic and enriched, students’ standards of education are raised, and many of them become keenly invested in science.
