When he was a kid, Dan Greenburg used to be a lot like Maximum Boy — he lived with his parents and sister in Chicago, he was skinny, he
wore glasses and braces, he was a lousy athlete, he was allergic to milk products, and he became dizzy when exposed to math problems.
Unlike Maximum Boy, Dan was never able to fly or lift locomotives.
As an adult, Dan has written more than 40 books for both kids and grown-ups, which have been reprinted in 23 countries. HIs kids' books
include the series The Zack Files, which is also a TV series. His grown-up books include How to Be a Jewish Mother and How to Make
Yourself Miserable. Dan has written for the movies and TV, the Broadway stage, and most national magazines. He has appeared on
network TV as an author and comedian. He is still trying to lift locomotives and fly.
