This book was really well written and it really shows the friendships between 2 people. It gives you respect for handicaps and shows that you can work together.

This is an exciting book for kids any ages. I read this book with my classmates and my teacher. I almost started to cry. It is a very, very descriptive book. This book inspired me to enjoy life more and live life to the max. This is a little related to my life because I don't know what I would do without my best friend and I can just imagine the way Max feels. I recommend this book to all children!! Very interesting book. You should read it!!!!!!!

I have just finished reading the book Freak the Mighty for English. I didn't think that it was a good book for a ninth grader to read, but after I read it, I was glad that my teacher made us read it. I was very moved by the book.

This book was AWESOME dude I swear. It is soooo sad and soooo true. Man, the author has a great mind about what really happens in real life. I mean most people just write crap just to be famous for publishing a story. There are so many less authors that write about real life and how it affects a lot of people.
Sarah H. Age 14

I love the book.... it is so interesting and has creative twists and turns that you don't expect within the book. The compassion and feeling of a character is given a chance to come out in the book with different situations... and that is how you get such a detailed visual of all the characters. I love the book !!!!
