It is okay, but I think Philip Pullman should have added more suspense or at least made it longer. He kind of just left you hanging there. I know that sometimes that is a good thing, but this time, he should have added more.

I think this book was a fascinating read. The way the story unwound just like a clock and how the two stories came together gradual until you couldn’t tell reality from fiction
Sinead C. Age 14

Clockwork is thrilling, and exciting! Every time I read it, I still get chill bumps. If more books were written like that, I'd read them! This is my all time favorite book!

This book was awesome! it took me some time to understand it for it was confusing at parts but then I understood it when it all came together in the end. GREAT BOOK!

I loved this book! It has horror, mystery, and fantasy all into one. The usage of clocks throughout the book is as ingenious and the eeriness of life, death, the devil, and the soul makes it a great Halloween read. Even if you read it in May, it is a great book.

A great book. I read it in class with my teacher and I wanted her to keep reading on but she kept stopping at cliff hangers. Philip Pullman's work is so enchanting and you feel you are in the place yourself.
Eilish B. Age 10

This is one of my favorite books among a whole lot of others. I've read it twice it's so amazing. My dad gave it to me when I was seven, I read the first part and thought it was incredibly boring. But once I read it, my opinion changed on Pullman's work.
Skyler G. Age 9

It was a really good book. Strange but good. From a person who reads Edgar Allen Poe, it was a truly good horror/fantasy book.
Lauren L. Age 13

I think it's a good book. I think it's more of a horror. It's a scary but interesting book.
Miles M., Age 9

It was a good book since all the stories intertwined and it was interesting with the different character types.
