Presentation Description:
3 Presentations per Day Maximum
Suggested Audience: Grades 4 – 9
During her presentations she discusses the writing process: the magic that turns readers into believers, spins ideas into stories, casts people into characters, and transforms research into fiction and nonfiction. She speaks to large and small groups. Request a visit.
Suggested Teaching Topics: Holocaust, Historical Fiction, WWII, Immigration
Conferences & Festivals:
Susan frequently speaks to adult groups of educators at state and national conferences and festivals and enjoys giving keynote addresses as well as breakout sessions and panel discussion groups. Request a visit.
Virtual Visits:
Susan is happy to drop in for a virtual visit and Q&A with book groups and library groups that have read at least one of her books using Skype or iChat. Request a visit.
AV Tech Needs:
Susan will require a slide projector and if speaking to a large group, a microphone. She brings her own laptop computer.
Honorarium:
$2,000 per day plus expenses including hotel accommodations when overnight travel is required.
