Mike Thaler Visit Kit
A firm believer that story writing and riddle-making are useful tools for stimulating creative use and awareness of language, award-winning author and illustrator Mike Thaler, known nationally as America's "Riddle King," travels the nation leading teachers and students into the realm of imagination. Mike shares his favorite motto with the people he meets: "The most powerful nation in the world is imagination." Mike has three different programs available:
- a riddle-making workshop for Grades 3–9
- a story and creative dramatics workshop for gGrades K–2
- a creative bookmaking workshop for Grades 1–9.

Please note: There is not time for Mr. Thaler to sign books during half-day programs. Instead, Mr. Thaler creates original and personalized artwork for the school, including a poster for the library, a book mark, a bookplate and an autographed drawing to be copied for each student.
