  • Michael Dooling's biography
  • How to plan an author visit

"You could hear a pin drop!" said one teacher about Michael's History Through Picture Books program.  He has visited over 700 schools nationwide and has illustrated 50 books and authored two.  His books and program relate to a school's curriculum and Michael relates well to children.  He wears a colonial costume, shows slides, demonstrates how to paint and sketches portraits of children.

One librarian said "...your program was the best we ever had."  Another commented, "The best author who has come to my school in 14 years."  "In 13 years of visits, only you captured the attention of everyone including kindergarten," said another.  Shirley, a teacher, called it "the best program I've seen in 30 years."

For more information, Michael can be contacted at 856/546-6507 or visit his web site at www.michaeldooling.com    You may also E-mail him at michaeldooling@comcast.net
