Melvin Berger Visit Kit
Melvin Berger has over 200 non-fiction science books to his credit, including a number of prize winners. He enjoys making difficult topics understandable and interesting for his young readers and includes fun activities whenever possible. His school visits usually start with a step-by-step discussion of the writing process, relating it to bound books — and shows samples of each phase of the process. For the major part of his presentation, he involves the audience in interactive give-and-take and question-and-answer games related to the award-winning series, Scholastic Question and Answers, which he wrote with his wife, Gilda.
