Kate McMullan is a former teacher and author of more than 100 children’s books appropriate for kids from kindergarten through grade 6. Based on questions children have asked her at school visits, such as "Do you write full-time or do you have a real job?" she has created a humorous PowerPoint show. Her presentation is designed to show how stories spring from many sources, and to help young writers tune into their own potential story ideas. Ms. McMullan enjoys working with students in large groups or in smaller groups, where writing workshops are possible.
