Gilda Berger has published more than 200 books for young readers, many co-authored with her husband, Melvin Berger. Her background as an elementary school teacher helps her tailor her school visits to the particular needs of the students. She is happy to adapt her talk to fit a classroom curriculum or a teacher's writing program. Gilda read selections from her books to the children and encourages audience participation. In connection with her book, Celebrate!, the author has also developed a creative workshop for school visits.
