Don Lessem Author Visit Kit
Dino Don Lessem is the author of 20 books for children and adults on dinosaurs, as well as rainforests, ice mummies and endangered species, and Highlights Magazine's columnist and editor on dinosaurs, and dinosaur editor for Dig Magazine.
He was an advisor to the Jurassic Park film and ride and to Disney's Dinosaur film and theme park. He hosts and narrates NOVA and Discovery Channel documentaries and builds large travelling exhibits including The Dinosaurs of Jurassic Park/Lost World for museums. He is now building the largest skeleton display ever done – for Atlanta's Fernbank Museum – a 100 foot long Argentinosaurus dinosaur chased by a 45 foot long Giganotosaurus, animals that his company uniquely fabricates from digs he has worked on in Argentina. He currently lives in Boston and has two clean children and one filthy dog.
