Debbie Dadey is a former librarian, former elementary school teacher, and the co-author, with Marcia Thornton Jones, of five popular Scholastic series: The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids, The Bailey School Kids Junior Chapter Books, Ghostville Elementary, Triplet Trouble, and the Bailey City Monsters.
Mrs. Dadey also wrote the delightful Swamp Monster in Third Grade series, as well as many individual titles such as The Worst Name in Third Grade. Her lively presentations encourage student participation and questions.
Mrs. Dadey's program varies with the size and age of the audience and ranges from using puppets to group story writing. She also likes to include the five-step writing process, with older children, as it applies to her work.
Debbie Dadey is also available to present with Marcia Thornton Jones, and they both thoroughly enjoy working together, when their schedules allow! When making arrangements, please provide separate, non-smoking, hotel rooms.
