Carole Geithner Author Visit Kit
Carole Geithner is the author of the middle-grade novel, If Only. She is a clinical social worker who combines her creativity and love of writing with her years of experience working with kids and adults of all ages. She lives in Westchester County, NY. Visit her website: www.carolegeithner.com.
Carole enjoys facilitating discussions about difficult topics, communication challenges, and engaging her audience’s empathy skills. She does this by sharing poignant and humorous stories about the inspiration for and process of her writing a novel about loss and life after loss, topics that tend to be avoided but are a part of everyone’s life. She also enjoys Q&A about writing, peer relationships, and the value of creative expression.
Conferences & Festivals
Carole has spoken to a variety of adult and teen audiences, with a focus on writing-related themes, grief themes, or a combination of the two. She participates in formal and informal events.
Carole is happy to drop in for a 20-30 minute virtual visit and Q&A using Skype or iChat with book groups and library groups that have read her novel, If Only. Longer visits available for a fee (available upon request).
