One of my first grade classes shot and edited simple interviews using Windows Movie Maker in less than three 40-minute periods. Take a look at an excerpt below from our first week of interviews. Then read my post, Ways to Use QR Codes for Education and see how educator Brandy Warthan used QR codes to introduce her school's VIPs.
How are you using technology to foster new relationships between the folks in your school building?
Building your classroom library? Did you know Scholastic Reading Club (formerly Book Clubs) is offering a special fall promotion of FREE books plus up to 10,000 bonus points?

Precious!! =)
Alycia,
Thank you so much! Once kids realize that b-roll is yet another way to define their subjects, they come up with the most creative ways to shoot subjects. My second graders are about to shoot our director of finance folding cash into orgami squares... lol. Send me a link to your videos. I would love to see! :)
Christy, thanks for yet another amazing idea. I have been trying to come up with a video-tech project for the start of the school year. PSA's for the school community featuring important school community members will be perfect! Thanks for doing my lesson planning for me!
