Visuals for Parent-Teacher Conferences

By  Beth Newingham on October 9, 2012
  • Grades: 3–5

Since parent-teacher conferences are a great time to get parents to the school, I make a point to update bulletin boards outside my classroom with student work.

Parents often arrive early, so I also put a laptop computer outside my classroom for parents to browse our classroom website, a digital photo frame (or actual album) of pictures I have taken throughout the year, and sign-up sheets with upcoming volunteer opportunities in my classroom.
