For this classroom theme, our classroom was known as “Rockin’ Room 13." The students were rock stars who were featured as “Newingham Idols” on posters that were displayed outside our classroom. Class jobs were referred to as “Rockin’ Responsibilities,” and our video celebration at the end of the year was called “Our Greatest Hits.”

Hi Beth!!!
I, love, love, love the keyboard in the back of your room. I have been looking for one just like it to go across the back of my middle school library. (Reading Rocks is one of the three themes that I use--three because students are out of here in three years, so I just keep adding to my three themes.)
I have been able to locate 3 inch rolls of a piano keyboard, but I want something larger. Did you, by any chance, purchase this or did you make it?
Thanks,
sandra

These sound like great ideas. It definitely seems like something kids would enjoy and would make the classroom seem more exciting and fun for kids.
Hi Beth...I LOVE all of your ideas and have been using many for my own classroom...so thank you!!! I was wondering about your website. I am having a hard time accessing the links. I was wondering if there was something more that I needed to do. It just keeps telling me that I have an invalid URL. Thanks so much for your ideas!!!! Have a great year.
