Closing Out the Year Using the Teamwork Theme

By  Beth Newingham on August 23, 2012
  • Grades: 3–5

The year I chose teamwork  as our theme for the year, I wove that theme into our end-of-year activities. For example:

  • I made "Varsity Letters" for each student out of colored cardstock. Each student was awarded a red and white "N" for being a valuable member of Team Newingham.
  • I named the entire class the "All-Star Team" and students were given certificates to reflect this honor.

View more pictures and information about the team theme.
