March is National Nutrition Month. Eating nutritious foods helps your body grow and stay strong. There are five food groups: grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy, and protein. Keep your diet balanced by eating something from each food group every day.
The smallest flowering plant in the world is the Wolffia globosa. These tiny flowers are difficult to see with the human eye. Each one is the size of a sprinkle. One of these plants weighs as much as two grains of salt. Wolffia globosa thrives in calm freshwater lakes and ponds. The flowers float on top of the water.
