What’s the difference between a meteor and a meteorite? What about a comet and an asteroid? A supernova and a supergiant? Invite your students to become astronomy experts. Challenge teams of students to each choose 10 space terms that they will teach to the rest of the class in the best way they know how. (Nasa.gov has a useful picture dictionary for choosing the terms.) Will your students create a slideshow, a rhyming song, a picture book, or some other creative presentation?
