Teaching Tip:
Use the time line to help student makes connections and understand complex relationships and interrelationships. Have your students keep a time line throughout the school year so that they can put historical events in perspective across curricular topics.

Teaching Tip for Back to School:
This timeline makes a good send-home assignment. Have students ask their parents for help with plotting significant events in their lives. Students can share the timelines with classmates the next day or over a period of weeks.
