Choose from the following activities:
- Draw a picture of the ancient city of Thebes as it exists in The Golden Goblet. Be sure to include the City of the Dead as well as the other half of Thebes, the Nile, the Valley of the Tombs of the Kings, and the palace.
- Ancient Egyptians filled their tombs with items for use in the afterlife. These items included clothing, wigs, food, cosmetics, and jewelry. Make a list of things you would want included in your tomb if you believed in such an afterlife.
- To reward Ranofer, Queen Tiy asked him what he craved most in all the world. Ranofer asked for a donkey. Write a short essay telling what you want more than anything in the world and why.
- Design the first necklace that Ranofer might make to give to Queen Tiy.
