ASK children to observe clouds on their way home. What pictures do they see in the clouds? Are there any rocket ships or elephants in the sky today?
HAVE children decide what the clouds look like. Ask them to draw a picture of the clouds they saw. Then ask volunteers to come to the front of the room, show their pictures, and tell what they think the clouds look like and why.
ENCOURAGE the other children to tell what they see in the cloud picture.
DISPLAY the cloud pictures with labels telling what the clouds look like.
