BUILD STORY BACKGROUND
Discuss a city with children.
- Invite them to tell about places they might visit in a city.
- Invite them to close their eyes and visualize a busy, noisy city with tall buildings.
- Then have children draw a picture of a city scene and include many different objects or buildings they might see.

- When completed, have each child write a sentence about his or her picture using one or more of the story words.
