Provide a variety of arts and crafts materials (craft sticks, boxes, yarn, fabric scraps, and so on) for children to create a small-scale model of their “dream chair.” Ask children to write a description of their special chair on a large index card that will be placed next to their chair model. Display the finished chairs on a table with a sign, “Best Seats in the House.”
