Bottled Monsters

Use this Pattern for Bottled Monsters template to put together some spooky bottled monsters decorations for your classroom.

  • Grades: PreK–K, 1–2

Materials

 

 

  1. Oak tag 
  2. Scissors
  3. White construction paper
  4. Crayons, pens, markers
  5. Pattern for Bottled Monsters (PDF) 

Directions

  1. Make various bottle-shaped templates from oak tag. See the next page for an example.
  2. Students trace the bottle shape on white construction paper, then draw the monsters inside.
  3. Encourage students to fill the bottles as completely as possible.
  4. Stack bottles to display, or arrange them along a chalkboard ledge.
