Overview

Students will cover important aspects of Ancient Rome and will conduct research using their social studies textbook and the Internet as their main resources. Through the process of creating brochures, students will demonstrate critical thinking and analytic skills as well as an understanding for the subject matter. Remember, this unit plan can be adapted to the study of any ancient civilization!

Objective

Students will:

  1. Create travel brochures. I call this our "Ancient Rome Itinerary."
  2. Provide historical evidence to reflect our studies within their travel brochure.
