Robert Maass is the author of "When Autumn Comes," "When Winter Comes," "When Spring Comes," "When Summer Comes," and "Tugboats." He lives with his family in Brooklyn, New York. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, which since 1914 has been impressing upon young minds the importance of nature and plants, approved the text, glossary and photographs in this book. Its Children's Garden has been a model for similar gardens worldwide.
