Playing tennis isn’t the only thing that makes Gopa special. She boasts a whole score of accomplishments, ranging from her election to Brunswick Acres Elementary’s Student Council to being the Youth Secretary for the Royal Oaks Club. The club offers early preparation for a possible future as a CEO of fixed-income trading and investment banking. Her ambitions don’t stop there. She hopes her writing will someday make her a famous author like J.K. Rowling and that her leadership skills will take her to the Oval Office!
“Our world revolves around news,” says Gopa. “News is a great way to send information around the planet. This can teach us many things about each other.”
Gopa wrote about the special aspects of her home state of New Jersey, pointing to both the past and the present.
“My state was one of the 13 colonies that first constituted the United States of America,” she wrote. “My community, South Brunswick Township, is centrally located in New Jersey and is embellished with historic and contemporary nerve-centers of our state.”
In her free time, Gopa enjoys reading. Her favorite book is Inkheart by Cornelia Funke.
She counts Barack Obama and her parents as some of her most important inspirations.
“I admire my parents very much because both of them are headstrong and they always keep their word,” she says. “Barack Obama is one of my role models because he used to be a common man before the 2008 presidential election, and now he has changed the course of U.S.
