Bio

Elisha is the award-winning author of Farm, A Good Night Walk, and Homer. Beach won the 2006 Society of Illustrators Gold Medal. Dance! was a New York Times Best Illustrated Book of the Year. His adult books include A Year in New York and the memoir Crawling: A Father’s First Year.

His books are beautifully illustrated with watercolors, and filled with real life details. Elisha’s newest book is Farm (winner of three stars). Farm tells the story of a big Midwestern farm. It chronicles the seasons, starting with spring planting and ending with fall harvest. It is filled with big tractors, cattle, roosters, barn cats, and the boy and girl who call the farm home. The book is a celebration of the American farm.
